Local Councillor Craig Gamble Pugh has described the way he keeps in touch with local residents and supports them with casework.
"Local people sometimes need a little support finding the right person to help them with an enquiry or problem. Sometimes it helps to get a letter or email from us as local councillors to back someone up and get things moving," explains Craig.
Craig, alongside fellow Labour Councillor Anne Murphy, deal with hundreds of casework enquiries a year. Recent issues have included:
- planning objections
- housing emergencies
- blue badges
- visa issues
