Dangerous railings fixed after Councillor action

Crookes Councillor Craig Gamble Pugh has stepped in to protects residents from a potentially lethal 8 foot drop. "I had noticed a section of iron railings on Woodfield Road had collapsed, leaving a treacherous drop onto the Bolehills below," explained Craig.

"These railings were left in this state for far too long, until I stepped in to speed up repair work," he continued. Finally, the repair works were carried out.

Residents are encouraged to report local issues to the council and let Craig know so he can chase it up.
