We are a friendly and active branch, with one of the largest memberships in Sheffield. We encourage all members to take part in our activities in whatever way best suits their interests and skills.
Ecclesall branch meetings
Ecclesall branch meetings are usually held on the second Thursday in January, March, May, July, September and November, at 7.30pm at Ecclesall Library community room.
Supporting the Branch: how members can help
Taking an active part in the work of the local Branch is interesting and rewarding; it keeps you up to date with local issues and gives you an opportunity to have your say on the local and national political agenda. In the run-up to the election of Local Councillors, members can help by delivering election leaflets, helping at streetstalls, or displaying posters and garden signs. You can also contribute by helping to identify Labour voters by telephone and personal contact by door to door knocking. It is really important to identify and record details of local voters to ensure they actually vote on the day of the election.
How the Branch is funded
We rely on donations and fundraising events to fund our activities, including election campaigns. If you want to help organise these, please do get in touch.
