Ecclesall Branch

The Ecclesall branch covers the areas around Greystones, High Storrs, Bents Green, Bannercross, Mylnhurst, Silverdale and Millhouses. We are a friendly and active branch; with around 600 members we are one of the largest branches in Sheffield. We encourage all members to take part in our activities in whatever way best suits their interests and skills.

Ecclesall branch meetings

Ecclesall branch meetings are usually held on the second Thursday in January, March, May, July, September and November, at 7.30pm at Ecclesall Library community room.

Supporting the Branch: how members can help

Taking an active part in the work of the local Branch is interesting and rewarding; it keeps you up to date with local issues and gives you an opportunity to have your say on the local and national political agenda. In the run-up to the election of Local Councillors, members can help by delivering election leaflets, helping at streetstalls, or displaying posters and garden signs. You can also contribute by helping to identify Labour voters by telephone and personal contact by door to door knocking.

NEXT ACTIVITY: This week we have 7500 leaflets to deliver to all households in Ecclesall. Please come along and help out with one or more group leafleting sessions as follows:

Sunday 16th July Bents Green area, meet 6pm at Bents Green shops, Ringinglow Road.

Monday 17th July High Storrs area, 2 sessions - meet 2pm and 6pm at junction of Edale Road and Huntley Road.

Tuesday 18th July Bannercross area, meet 2pm at junction of Huntingtower Road and Tullibardine Road.

Tuesday 18th July Greystones area, meet 6pm at Greystones pub, Greystones Road.

Please let us know if you intend to come along so that we have enough leaflets for everyone. Use the e-mail address below or post on our FB page.
