The Ecclesall branch covers the areas around Greystones, High Storrs, Bents Green, Bannercross, Mylnhurst, Silverdale and Millhouses. We are a friendly and active branch; with around 600 members we are one of the largest branches in Sheffield. We encourage all members to take part in our activities in whatever way best suits their interests and skills.

Supporting the Branch: how members can help
Taking an active part in the work of the local Branch is interesting and rewarding; it keeps you up to date with local issues and gives you an opportunity to have your say on the local and national political agenda. In the run-up to the election of Local Councillors, members can help by delivering election leaflets, helping at streetstalls, or displaying posters and garden signs. You can also contribute by helping to identify Labour voters by telephone and personal contact by door to door knocking.
Sunday 1st October: Members will be taking part in the national 'Tories Out' Demonstration in Manchester where the Tories are holding their conference. This event is organised by The People's Assembly against Austerity. Ecclesall Labour members will be attending - if you'd like to join us please contact us using the details below.
Saturday 14th October: Street stall, leafleting and canvassing - details to follow.
Thursday 19th October: Campaign Training Session. For anyone who would like to develop skills and confidence in campaigning door-to-door. This session will also look at the best ways to respond to common issues raised on the doorstep. Venue - Ecclesall Library Community Room 7.30pm-9.30pm. Please notify Arline Kersey if you would like to attend this event.
Monday 23rd October: Quiz Night at The Greystones Pub, Greystones Road (back room), 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 (contact Arline Kersey).
Saturday 25th November: Music Night with local band Toast, 7pm (music from 8pm) at St. Andrew's Hall, St Andrew's Road, Sheffiled s11 9AL. Tickets: £10.00 Adult / £8.00 Senior & Student (price includes first drink from the bar)
