Women Leading the Way

A free half day course for women in Sheffield Hallam Labour Party

Date: Saturday March 25th  2017

Venue: St Vincent’s Church,  Pickmere Road, Crookes (In the room with the green carpet.  The heating will be on when you arrive).  Plenty of free parking behind the church.

Duration: 10 am – 12.30 pm

Thank you to those of you who completed the survey, asking what you’d like to see organised for women in our constituency.

We’ve put together something we think will help us all to make our mark on the organisation and running of the Labour Party in Sheffield Hallam.

The course will help you to :

  • Understand what part you can play in your branch and constituency organisation
  • Take on an active and effective role in the above
  • Encourage other women to come forward

The morning will be divided into 2 parts :

  • How the Labour Party works locally and what part you can play in its organisation
  • How to make meetings work

There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion, small group work and some practical exercises all taking place in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Tea and coffee will be provided.

If you would like to join us, please let me know by email.   The course will cater for 20 women and the first 20 to contact me will be booked in.

Best wishes

Rosemary Telfer

Vice-Chair, Sheffield Hallam Labour Party
