Lord Mayor Anne Opens Crosspool Festival

Cllr Anne Murphy described her invitation to open the Crosspool Festival as "an honour".

As the current Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Anne said "I was thrilled to be asked to Festival this year and meet many Crosspudlians enjoying the fun and music."

Fellow ward Councillor Craig Gamble Pugh said "I know how much it meant to Anne to be at this year's festival as not just a local Councillor, but also as Sheffield's 'first citizen'. Congratulations to the residents and volunteers who have once again done Crosspool proud. Anne and I both take our hats off to them- although, Anne's hats are much more splendid than mine!"
